Nutrition companies focusing on children’s needs and preferences are growing in popularity. This is probably because parents nowadays approach their children’s health and nutrition much differently than before—almost scientifically.
Besides the growing awareness of the impact of proper nutrition on children’s future well-being, the COVID-19 pandemic further fuelled the interest in healthy nutrition. Parents have become more demanding and started researching more carefully before buying foods and supplements, especially those aimed at children.
Many companies recognized parents’ concerns and the need to strengthen their children’s immune systems and preserve their health. Therefore, they began transforming their business to cater to children’s specific needs, viewing children as an important consumer group.
Adthera Consumer Brands is one such business. The company launched Zingavita, nutritional supplements in a practical and fun gummy bear form, in November 2020. They saw gummy bears as a suitable form to interest children in supplementation and improve their intake of vitamins and minerals at the same time.
Moreover, Adthera Consumer Brands didn’t stop at manufacturing vitamins. Besides fun and delicious supplements, this startup soon started creating healthy breakfasts for kids. The meals combine healthy ingredients with favorite children’s flavors to make nutrition fun, delicious, and beneficial. Therefore, the breakfast comes in two forms—chocolate orange peel muesli and millet and oats muesli.
Another startup, Slurrp Farm, tackles children’s nutrition. Since 2016, the company has launched numerous organic and nutritious dietary products for toddlers and children. The products include cereals, ready-to-cook dosa, pancakes, cake mixes, snacks, and other healthy ready-to-consume choices.
Most importantly, none of their products contain white flour or sugar, the ingredients linked with an abundance of health problems. Instead, they include healthier alternatives such as millet, fruit, and chia seeds.
All taken into consideration, it’s safe to conclude that businesses like these allow the new-age health-conscious parents to control the quality of food for their children and get the best available nutritionally complete products on the market.
