Market Size of Immune Health Supplements Skyrockets by 2028

immunity supplements market size

According to Fortune Business Insights™’ new report, the immune health supplements market with key players such as Herbalife Nutrition, BioGaia, Bayer AG, and Pfizer is quickly expanding. Namely, experts recently predicted growth at a CAGR of 6.6% for the forecast period 2020–2028. The industry’s market worth is expected to increase from $18.22 billion it recorded in 2020 to $31.50 billion by 2028.

The driving force behind the change is the growing awareness of the importance of products with minimally processed natural components. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the market by shifting customers’ views to immune health supplements.

The current health crisis increased the demand for supplements that can help boost the immune system and potentially prevent coronavirus infection. Though it’s naive to think the sole use of supplements can shield you from the deadly virus, the belief that supplementation lowers the chances of contagion isn’t entirely unfounded.

Namely, a recent study showed that omega-3, probiotics, multivitamins, and vitamin D supplements could indeed reduce the chance of covid infection. This is why millions of consumers worldwide turn to supplements, probiotics, herbal extracts, vitamins, etc.

Furthermore, the growing interest in fitness additionally stimulated the demand for immunity-boosting products. This, and all previously mentioned factors, lead to the market share expansion and will keep doing so for the years to come.
